Lea Seydoux Offered Bella Donna Role In Rupert Wyatt’s ‘Gambit’

Aug 24, 2015

While other actresses have been linked for the role of Bella Donna, The Wrap claims that Lea Seydoux (Spectre, Inglorious Basterds, Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) has now been given an official offer to play the female lead in the X-Men spin-off Gambit, which stars Channing Tatum as the lead hero.

She’ll play both villain and love interest in Gambit, as the leader of the hero’s arch-rivals the Assassin’s Guild.

We’ve been clued-in on the character of Bella Donna since the announcement was made that Lea was wanted for the lead role. There have been some other possible mutant additions circling the solo flick as well, which may or may not be apart of Gambit’s canonical comic book history, thanks to co-screenwriter Chris Claremont. Once we start hearing other actors in the mix, we’ll try add who those characters are.
