Liev Schreiber Talks Desire To Be Old Man Sabretooth in ‘Wolverine 3’

Sep 2, 2015

While on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the host brought-up the rumor that Liev Schreiber was interested in reprising the role of Sabretooth for Wolverine 3, via a reply to a workout post on social media made by Hugh Jackman. He first shook-off the post as nothing, but talked about a desire to be apart of the film and play an older version of the character. Revealing he had heard indeed that the film would be based on the comic Old Man Logan, something we’ve been hearing for ages, and that was all but confirmed by Jackman in July.

Check it out for yourselves.

Wolverine 3, or whatever they end up calling it, my bet is Wolverine: Old Man Logan, is set for release in March of 2017. Production is said to begin early next as mentioned by it’s co-writer and director James Mangold.

We still of course are rooting for Omega Red to be apart of the film, but we can’t be mad if the best part of Origins makes a return for the final film.
