Charlize Theron will be going from Mad Max: Fury Road to Fast 8 as the actress has closed a deal to take a leading role in the film as new character, according to a report from Deadline.
She will reunite with F. Gary Gray who directed her in The Italian Job.
There had been chatter that the next villain could be played by an actress, it’s unknown but likely this could be Theron’s part in the film.
It also looks like Jason Statham will be returning.
The Wrap reports that Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju has joined the cast as well.
