Today, Marvel and Netflix have officially announced that Jessica Jones will be returning for a second season. This comes off the critically acclaimed first season which saw star Jessica Jones played by Kristen Ritter take on the evil Purple Man played by David Tennant. They also also announced that showrunner Melissa Rosenberg will indeed return for the sequel season. Unfortunately, no word on the potential Punisher series was announced just yet…
Development on The Defenders team-up mini series is also starting to ramp up even though Iron Fist has yet to be cast.
