Today, on the first day of the New York Comic-Con Marvel Studios has officially announced that the sequel to this years Ant-Man will be coming July 8th, 2018. The film has been titled Ant-Man and The Wasp which means an expanded role for Evangeline Lilly’s character Hope Van Dynes will also be coming thankfully. This is something Kevin Feige has alluded to given her role in the original Ant-Man was quite small (even smaller in the original script).
This means they have moved up Black Panther but pushed back Captain Marvel to February 16th, 2018 and March 8th, 2019 respectfully. But even though that is sad news Marvel Studios has officially claimed three more release dates for their Phase Four films! These untitled dates include May 1st 2020, July 10th, 2020, and November 6th, 2020.
