Earlier this week it was announced that CBS’s Supergirl TV Show had moved networks over to The CW. She will joined the DCTV Universe of Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Now during The CW Upfronts it was announced that a massive crossover event will happen between all four shows. This shouldn’t come as a surprise given Arrow/The Flash have been having crossover events yearly. Also, there was a Supergirl/Flash crossover episode earlier this year on CBS.
One possible crossover event that could take place in the DCTV Universe could be an adaptation of Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. While we know it does happen in Flash’s future from the piolt episode we don’t know if the creators of the shows will actually make it a reality. However, now that Flash Season 2’s entire plot was the discovery of the multi-verse it seems fit to make this story for the CW audience. Currently Supergirl is on her own earth separate (yet the same) from Flash’s and Arrow’s so it should open up the door ways to many possibility’s.
This could also be a massive four-part event given each show debuts on a separate night. Supergirl on Monday’s, The Flash on Tuesday’s, Arrow on Wednesday’s and Legends of Tomorrows on Thursdays. Only time will tell to see if DCTV universe rival that of the DC Expanded Universe.
