Over the weekend some set photos leaked of Man of Steel and The Matrix star Laurence Fishbourne on the set of Keanu Reeves upcoming sequel John Wick 2. When reached out to the actors reps they confirmed to Variety Fishbourne was indeed on the set filming a small cameo for the film. This would be the first time to two actors have been in a film together since the cult classic Matrix trilogy came out in early 2000.
It’s unknown what his role is in the film but a nod to The Matrix films isn’t entirely out of the question. Common also joined the cast as the films new villain with returning cast members Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane and John Leguizamo.
No release date has been set for John Wick 2.
