Variety’s television critic Mo Ryan (via Screen Rant) heard Jessica Jones showrunner and executive producer Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter) speak at Transform Hollywood and she dropped a big season two tidbit.

During her keynote panel, Melissa revealed that all thirteen episodes of Jessica Jones season two will directed by women. Previously, there had been complaints from both the fan and online communities, that Marvel Television could have been hiring more women directors.

We won’t know the direction of the series, as it’ll be likely taking place post-Defenders, but there is some speculation we could see Trish Walker (Rachel Taylor) finally make her superhero transformation into Hellcat.

A start date hasn’t been announced, but there has been assumption due to Daredevil Season 3’s Comic-Con teaser, that it won’t go into production until that has completed filming.
