Michael B. Jordan Seemingly Confirms ‘Black Panther’ Role; Excited To Reunite With Coogler

Jun 8, 2016

Michael B. Jordan while speaking with The Hollywood Reporter has seemingly confirmed his involvement with Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther. It had been reported Jordan would take a villain role in the film, but the part was unnamed.

“I’m super excited, especially to put a different spin on it,” the actor tells The Hollywood Reporter at Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. “I’m looking forward to working with Ryan [Coogler] once again. It’s gonna be a good time.”

Jordan and Coogler previously worked together on the films Fruitvale Station and last year’s Creed.

Production is expected to take place in early 2017, with it’s release date set for February 2018.
