Michael Bay’s ‘Six Underground’ Already Has A Cinematographer and Production Designer

May 22, 2018

It was just announced that Skydance and Netflix are teaming up to finance Michael Bay’s Six Underground, an original action film written by Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick.

Ryan Reynolds is set to star star in the film which will see a group of six billionaires who fake their deaths to then focus on taking down bad guys.

Well, the trades seem confident that cameras will be rolling on this summer and Omega Underground might be able to back this up as Bay has hired some key crew members already.

We have learned that Six Underground has already added cinematographer Bojan Bazelli (The Ring, A Cure For Wellness, The Lone Ranger) production designer Jeffrey Beecroft (13 Hours, A Quiet Place, Twelve Monkeys).

This would suggest that Bojan is off Fox’s Gambit (expected to be pushed to late summer or fall) and they’ll be looking for a new cinematographer or trades have their wires crossed when this will begin filming.

Ryan is also expected to begin filming Drew Goddard‘s X-Force starting around October 1st in Vancouver, it’s possible that could be pushed slightly to accommodate this potential summer shoot.

Six Underground will drop on Netflix sometime in 2019.
