They name his apparent role is that of rival “scientist” Nicodemus West, but West is actually a fellow surgeon who preforms surgery on Stephen after his accident during a car crash, which leads to ruining his medical career after major nerve damage to his hands. West, would also follow in the footsteps of Strange and taught the mystical ways by The Ancient One. It remains to be seen if he’ll end up friend or foe to Stephen.

The rest of the cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch in the titular role, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo, and Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One.

Michael has a huge list of credits which include HBO’s Boardwalk Empire, The Coen Brother’s picture A Serious Man, Men In Black 3 and more recently seen in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs.
