Variety was word of a new casting addition to Warner Bros’ Shining sequel Doctor Sleep which has Ewan McGregor set to play an adult Danny.
They report that Mission: Impossible – Fallout actress Rebecca Ferguson is joining Doctor Sleep in an undisclosed role.
It’s possible she will be playing another character with the ability to “shine”, it remains to be seen if she’ll be friend or foe to McGregor’s Danny.
Warner Bros. has set the film’s release date for January 24th, 2020.
