NBC Orders Pilot on The Office Inspired Comedy ‘Powerless’ For DC Comics

Jan 8, 2016

Today, during the TCA event held every year many shows were announced, cancelled and renewed. NBC the network behind such hits like The Office and Parks & Recs has announced they have ordered a pilot for Powerless. Powerless will be a workplace comedy set within the DC Universe:

“Full of superheroes, villains and people just like us. Powerless is an office comedy about the exceedingly average employees at an insurance company and their quest to find their own power.”

Cars 2 scribe Ben Queen will write an showrun the project with NBC. It’s unknown which DC heroes will appear but with NBC’s relationship with The CW (They allowed Constantine to crossover networks) it wouldn’t be entirely impossible to see Arrow or The Flash cameo.
