With the tag: “She doesn’t have a hero name yet, but she’s working on it” Brian Michael Bendis and Mike Deodato are ready to introduce a new Iron Lady in Invincible Iron Man #9 out May 4th. Let the speculation begin on who will don the armor, the most popular rumor is that it will be Tony’s new assistant: Mary Jane Watson. However that almost seems too easy right? Perhaps we could see Pepper Potts return to the book as our new hero considering she was well received when she took over for Stark as R.E.S.C.U.E. There are also a bounty of strong new female characters in the Iron Man books right now that would be worthy of the metal, wether it be Tony’s new love interest or James Rhodes niece Riri who was recently seen building some type of iron suit at the end of Invincible Iron Man #7. For an outside the box theory how about the possibility that Tony’s new female A.I: F.R.I.D.A.Y becomes self aware?
