New Live-Action ‘Black Ops 3’ Promo Trailer Reveals Super Soldiers In 2065

Apr 24, 2015

“Call of Duty®: Black Ops 3 is the first title for next-gen hardware in the critically acclaimed Black Ops series. Developed by Treyarch, the award-winning creator of the two most-played games in Call of Duty® history. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 deploys players into a dark, twisted future where a new breed of Black Ops soldiers emerges and the lines are blurred between our own humanity and the technology we created to stay ahead, in a world where cutting-edge military robotics define warfare. With three unique game modes: Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies, providing fans with the deepest and most ambitious Call of Duty ever.”

Treyarch as posted a new live-action teaser trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, which sets the new game in the year 2065 or at least America’s covert use of super soldiers via an Edward Snowden-like whistleblower. This supports previous speculation that the studio had been hinted to genetically and robotically altered soldiers, and it seemingly seems to be apart of a covert government program I assume used for whatever agency our main characters will be apart of.

The actual reveal trailer is still set for this Sunday, so I’m sure this will be further explained and we might actually get some in-game footage, along with actual gameplay in this new future of super soldiers.

Black Ops 3 is aiming for a release date sometime in November.
