Sep 30, 2015

Black Ops III engrosses players in a dark and gritty future, where a new breed of Black Ops soldier has emerged, and the lines between humanity and military technology have been blurred. You must navigate the hot spots of a new Cold War to find your missing brothers. While much has changed, one thing remains the same: everything you know may be wrong. How far down the rabbit hole are you willing to go to uncover the disturbing truth?

It wouldn’t be Call of Duty without zombies mode and “Black Ops III” is no exception. Titled “Shadows of Evil” and taking place in a 1940s film noir setting, the mode will feature the vocal stylings of Jeff Goldblum, Ron Perlman, Heather Graham, Robert Picardo, and Neal McDonough.

The trailer reveals that Man of Steel actor Christopher Meloni and Farscape‘s Ben Browder will be featured in the game. Similar to how Kevin Spacey, Sam Worthington, and Michael Rooker previously worked on previous franchise campaigns lending their likeness and voices. Sledgehammer and Treyarch also employ many established actors for their Zombies and Exo-Zombies game modes.

UPDATE: Katee Sackhoff has also been identified in the trailer, who is best known for roles in Battlestar Galactica and Riddick.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC November 6. It was recently announced that Black Ops 3 for PS3 and XBox One will only include multiplayer, due to the campaign’s complex co-op mode.

Here’s also a very cool multiplayer tutioral video from the folks over at Treyarch, which sort explains the new abilities and systems in place for the new installment.
