Newcomer Sadie Stanley & Sean Giambrone Cast in Disney’s ‘Kim Possible’; Filming Begins in June

Apr 28, 2018

Disney Channel has been hard at work trying to find the leads in their upcoming Kim Possible live-action TV Movie. Based on the classic cartoon of a teenage super spy we finally have our leads thanks to Variety. Newcomer Sadie Stanley nailed her very first Hollywood audition for the role of Kim Possible. While Goldberg’s star Sean Giambrone has been cast as her best friend and eventual love interest Ron Stoppable. Judy Taylor, senior vice president of casting and talent relations at Disney adds:

“Sadie delivers Kim’s confidence, smarts, and agility; most importantly, she’s an everyday girl with an extraordinary spirit. Sean is such a magnetic actor; he always finds the right balance of physical comedy and heart. We’re excited for audiences to see Sadie and Sean bring these iconic roles to life.”

We at Omega Underground have learned that production is expected to begin June 4th through July 23rd later this summer in Vancouver. It will be filming under the working title Possibility. Which is corroborated in this recent report. The villain roles of Shego and Doctor Drakken have yet to be announced.

Kim Possible will debut on Disney Channel in 2019
