While a trailer is on the horizon, 20th Century Fox has released the first still from Alien: Covenant on the official Alien Twitter account and it’s invoking the Colonial Marines from Aliens.
The image shows the Covenant ship’s security forces with rifles drawn and cameras attached going through some tall grass.
Fox recently screened footage and a trailer at a press event, which got a great response from those in attendance. Mentioning the film brought back the feeling of the first two films and this image is certainly supporting those claims.
We should be getting a trailer in the near future.
Alien: Covenant is set for release on May 19th, 2017.
