The Hollywood Reporter has learned that X-Men: Apocalypse actress Olivia Munn is in negotiations with Fox to co-star alongside fellow X-Men alumni Boyd Holbrook (Narcos, Logan, Gone Girl) in Shane Black’s The Predator.
Munn is said to be playing the role of scientist in the film.
Olivia Munn is in negotiations to join Boyd Holbrook in The Predator, Twentieth Century Fox’s reboot of the alien action movie series that Shane Black is directing.
Holbrook is starring in the movie, which was co-written by Black and Fred Dekker.
Plot details are being kept under wraps but this is known: the story plunks the deadly alien hunter, who audiences have seen fight in jungles, concrete jungles, frozen wastelands and alien planets, in the harsh environment of … suburbia.
Munn will play a scientist opposite Holbrook’s Special Forces commando.
The film will begin shooting this February in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
