Oscar Isaac Joins JC Chandor’s ‘Triple Frontier’ – Ben Affleck Didn’t Exit

Despite previous trade reports of Ben Affleck‘s exit on Triple Frontier and Mark Wahlberg being eyed as a possible replacement (Mark is too busy filming two other movies in Atlanta), some new photos from Hawaii have seemingly confirmed the film’s actual lineup.

The actual cast put together by director JC Chandor now consists of Ben Affleck, Pablo Pascal, Charlie Hunnam, and Garrett Hedlund. Most of these names we’ve heard before.

Also, the new addition of A Most Violent Year’s Oscar Isaac, who hadn’t been previously linked to a role. It remains to be seen how much Oscar will be in the film will Star Wars: Episode IX beginning to shoot in late July.

Omega Underground previously reported filming would be taking place in Oahu, Hawaii (confirmed) starting on May 15th and is expected to wrap around September 30th.

We also revealed most of the crew who include cinematographer Roman Vasyanov (Fury, Suicide Squad, Bright, End of Watch), production designer Greg Berry (Detroit, Suicide Squad, Homefront, Deadpool, Captain America: Civil War, 3:10 To Yuma), stunt coordinator Steve Griffin (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Mad Max: Fury Road, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), and costume designer Jacqueline West (Live By Night, The Revenant, Benjamin Button, Argo).

Netflix hasn’t given Triple Frontier a release date.
