Patty Jenkins Brings On ‘Expendables’ Screenwriter David Callaham For ‘Wonder Woman 2.

We have have an update on the creative team for Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman 2. HollywoodReporter has learned that Patty has brought on Expendables screenwriter David Callaham to pen the sequel. The pair were previously working on an adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s Jackpot as her next project, having an established relationship with David is a good sign Patty is calling the shots.

David was also recently hired by Universal for their Wolf Man reboot.

The sequel is expected to skip World War II and jump into the Cold-War.

We’ve been hearing depending on the script delivery, the film could be eyeing a summer/fall shoot next year. Things are moving quickly over at Warner Bros.

Wonder Woman 2 has the release date of December 13th, 2019. Although, it’s expected that the film could move out of the way of Episode IX.
