Today, Deadline revealed that Goosebumps and Monsters vs. Aliens director Rob Letterman has boarded Lionsgate upcoming Pokemon live-action movie. As previously reported this movie will not be based on either of the manga, cartoon or video games during the titles almost 20 year existence.The script is currently being penned by Captain Marvel writer Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch. The film is currently being titled Detective Pikachu based on the mini game it is taking inspiration from.
