Yesterday, we learned that Hellboy creator Mike Mignola was spearheading a new reboot titled Hellboy: Rise of The Blood Queen. Stranger Things actor David Harbour would be recast in the leading role with Neil Marshall aiming to direct.
A bit of a hint at of when we could see Blood Queen start shooting was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit, suggesting that producers want to see filming being in mid-September.

It remains to be seen if they’ll actually meet that potential start date.
We have no idea where they are planning to shoot the film as finalized deal hasn’t been made.
