Canadian actress Rachel McAdams has confirmed “early talks” for a role in Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange. The role isn’t mentioned but it’s likely she could play fellow sorceress Clea, who just happens to be the daughter of Strange’s big bad Dormammu. Adams has had a bit of a career bump thanks to HBO’s True Detective and the boxing drama Southpaw.

Benedict Cumberbatch is already set to play Dr. Stephen Strange, while Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor are also confirmed for roles as well. Tilda playing Strange’s mentor The Ancient One and Chiwetel playing his rival Baron Mordo.

Strange will start production soon with a November 4th, 2016 release date.
