May 28, 2020

Razer are not taking any prisoners with the new $4300 Quadro RTX 5000 powered Blade 15 Studio Edition. This baby, just announced this morning, comes in a single configuration that will surely impress the most die-hard mobile workstation users:

  • CPU: 8-Core 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10875H, 16 Threads, 2.3GHz / 5.1GHz (Base / Max Turbo), 16MB Cache
  • GPU: NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 Studio Edition (16GB GDDR6 VRAM
  • Display: OLED Touch, 100% DCI-P3, 1ms response time, Gorilla Glass

    • USBC 3.2 Gen 2, Supports 20V USB-C chargers with PD 3.0

The big news here, if you ask me (and thanks for asking!) is the ability to charge this mobile workstation using a USB-C charger. I mean…wow! Huge. Now it’s not going to work with a $15 charger so be sure to note the requirement of PD 3.0 and 20V.

We’ll do our best to get our hands on a demo unit and give you our feedback.
