It’s not a Shane Black movie without a charismatic child actor and it looks like youngster Jacob Tremblay has joined The Predator according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Tremblay will play the son of Holbrook’s character, an ex-Marine who discovers the existence of fierce aliens but finds that no one believes they exist. The son is autistic and bullied in school but becomes a key player in the fight due to his preternatural ability to learn languages.
He’ll be joining Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, and possibly Thomas Jane.
Production begins next month with a release date set for February 9th, 2018.
