El Mayimbe has branched-out and created his own geek website Heroic Hollywood, while he’s been posting a large volume of Batman v Superman promo art he’s drop a real scoop for us. This one is concerning Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, and might be a bit of a SPOILER, so you’ve been warned.
Apparently, T’Challa aka Black Panther is hunting down Buck Barnes aka The Winter Soldier in the film.
Here is where the spoiler aspect kicks-in.
A reason isn’t given but the assumption is that Bucky, not Klaue has killed his father T’Chaka King of Wakanda. It would make more sense that a meta-human like Bucky could be able to get at a Black Panther to take him out within Wakanda. Then again, is part is pure speculation on my part, but considering Winter Soldier might be responsible for the death of Stark’s parents as well it might be how the two characters connect.
Rumors have been circling via Latino Review that Ernie Hudson could be playing T’Chaka, but the assumption was concerning the solo film and not really an appearance in Civil War. To put T’Challa in the Black Panther suit they kind of need to kill-off the current Panther which is his father, so having him included in Civil War makes sense to me.
