RUMOR: ‘Mad Max’ Director George Miller To Helm ‘Man of Steel 2’?

Last year during a Warner Brothers meeting the first slate of DC movies that would be coming out through 2020. Absent from the list included a Batman solo film an a Superman sequel but the studio assured us that both was still coming as well. This year it was announced that Ben Affleck along with Geoff Johns would be working on the Batman solo film; so what of the Superman sequel to Man of Steel?

Jon Schnepp director of The Death of Superman Lives and frequent contributor to Collider Movie Talk  revealed with confidence that a Superman sequel is coming. He goes onto reveal that Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller will helm the sequel. George Miller who is known for his Mad Max films at WB was also once hired to direct Justice League: Mortal before the whole film was scrapped.

Now while it’s hard to take anything from a YouTube movie commentator it should be noted that several months ago El Mayimbe also hinted at George Miller helming a DC Expanded Universe film in the future….
