The Tomb Raider might be coming to theatres sooner than expect, as a new rumor from Heroic Hollywood suggests Warner Bros. is looking to release the film next year.
They state the film is looking to be released on October 6th, 2017.
Roar Uthaug will direct the reboot with a script from Huntsman‘s Evan Daugherty and Transformers 5‘s Geneva Robertson-Dworet.
Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley is a current frontrunner for the role of Lara Croft.
The assumption being that production could take place in late summer or fall.
