Several weeks ago it was announced that Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns were hard at work writing & directing an upcoming solo Batman film. Now Den of Geek is reporting within the past 24 hours a special screening of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice debuted that WB was so impressed by Afflecks performance they want to give him a trilogy of solo Batman films. Batman v Superman was even reported as having a standing ovation with WB considering extending Affleck’s Batman role to be even larger in the DC Expanded Universe.
Of course anything can happen until Ben Affleck signs those papers but it seems Warner Brothers really wants him to stay on and play the character for the next decade or so….
