Last February, it was reported that Skydance Pictures was in talks with Sam Raimi to direct their Bermuda Triangle feature they had been developing since 2013.
The mysterious film would tackle the Bermuda Triangle legend.
It’s looking like Sam Raimi might have indeed signed on to direct as Omega Underground has learned production is expected begin on March 19th in Vancouver (originally eyeing a start in late February) and possibly wrap around July-August. Production is also set to take place in Hawaii as well.
Skydance usually works with Paramount so we assume Bermuda Triangle could be added to their 2019-2020 release slate. However, a studio hasn’t officially nabbed the project as of yet.
