Samuel L. Jackson Taking Role In Tim Burton’s ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children’

Feb 7, 2015

Another actor is joining the cast of Tim Burton‘s adaptation of Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children. Deadline reports that Samuel L. Jackson is in negotiations with 20th Century Fox for the role of Barron.

Jackson is currently shooting Quentin Tarantino’s 8th feature film the snowy western The Hateful Eight.

The comic book film has been adapted by screenwriter Jane Goldman (Woman In Black, Kingsman, Kick-Ass, X-Men First Class) already having actors attached such as Asa Butterfield (Hugo, Ender’s Game) and Eva Green (Sin City 2, 300 Rise of An Empire, Casino Royale, Dark Shadows) as the titular female lead.

Fox has set the release date for March 4th, 2016.

I can’t say I was a huge fan of Alice In Wonderland or Dark Shadows but I did really enjoy Big Eyes which I hope this film takes performance and visual cues from.
