Samuel L. Jackson To Get A Gory Death Scene In ‘The Blob’ Remake

May 14, 2015

A new press release for Simon West‘s remake of the iconic 80’s horror flick The Blob announces that Samuel L. Jackson will play a biochemistry professor attempting to thwart the other-worldly predator discovered deep within the earth. Jackson has a tendency to get killed off in these kinds of sci-fi films you only have to look to Deep Blue Sea and Jurassic Park. I would assume it’s a supporting role mainly because usually the leads of the last two Blob films have been high school aged. Sam is still the king of the box office being the actor with the highest grossing percentage, he’s already coming-off box office hits like Avengers: Age of Ultron and The Kingsman, but manages to do more smaller genre roles.
