Scorsese’s ‘The Irishman’ Is Becoming A ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Reunion

Sep 14, 2017

It’s starting to look like Martin Scorsese is pulling actors from all his projects for the gangster film The Irishman.

Actors include Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, and Al Pacino (first time working with Marty).

Well, it’s looking like it’s not only a Mean Streets/Goodfellas reunion but also a Boardwalk Empire reunion, as Scorsese is pulling multiple cast members for the film.

They include Bobby Cannavale along with recent announced additions Jack Huston, Stephen Graham, and Domenick Lambardozzi. Graham, who played All Capone in the series will play Mob Boss Tony Provenzano according to Deadline.

Bobby’s Vinyl co-star Ray Romano also has a role, another HBO series Scorsese produced.

I’ve been expecting to see Steve Buscemi get involved as well.

Production is underway in New York City and is expected to drop sometime next year on Netflix.
