Today, The Hollywood Reporter announced that writers David Bar Katz (The Man in the Rockefeller Suit) and Todd Stashwick (Gotham, 12 Monkeys) have joined Suicide Squad 2. The two writers will be working closely with director Gavin O’Connor as they rewrite the script. This was always going to happen as DC is pushing forward with their Birds of Prey film slated to start filming later this year after Margot Robbie completes Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Suicide Squad 2 is slated for 2019 but it’s unknown if it will make that release date
