SDCC 2016: I Feel Bad For The Toilet Roll In The New ‘Sausage Party’ Trailer

Jul 22, 2016

Guess what? Adult cinemagoers enjoy a good animated movie just as much as kids do. It’s fact! But studios rarely ever take up the opportunity to make one specifically for grown-up eyes only.

Things are about to change however with the upcoming release of Sausage Party, a new R-Rated animated comedy about food being alive—think Toy Story but with sausages fighting for survival.

A brand new trailer for the raunchy flick was released at San Diego Comic-Con, that give us more hilarious footage and reveals that it’s not just food suffering at the hands of humans.

Poor toilet roll….

Sausage Party synopsis:

Life is good for all the food items that occupy the shelves at the local supermarket. Frank (Seth Rogen) the sausage, Brenda (Kristen Wiig) the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco and Sammy Bagel Jr. (Edward Norton) can’t wait to go home with a happy customer. Soon, their world comes crashing down as poor Frank learns the horrifying truth that he will eventually become a meal. After warning his pals about their similar fate, the panicked perishables devise a plan to escape from their human enemies.
