Sharon Stone Teasing Role In Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man And The Wasp’?

Sharon Stone likely just revealed she’ll be apart of an untitled upcoming Marvel film while speaking with James Corden on The Late Late Show, possibly hinting to the Ant-Man sequel.

“I am going to do a Marvel movie. I’m just doing a wee part in a Marvel movie, upcoming, and I can’t tell, because you know, you have to sign confidentiality agreements. But I’m going to do a wee part in a Marvel movie now. That’s it.”

Stone is best known for roles in films like Total Recall, Basic Instinct, Casino, The Specialist, The Quick & The Dead and Sphere. Captain America: Civil War‘s Sebastian Stan couldn’t help himself and flirted up a storm with the actress while on the show.

It’s not hard to make guesses who she could be playing, one possibly might be Janet in Ant-Man and The Wasp, considering her connection with Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) in the notorious 1980’s thriller Basic Instinct. Many have suggested Catherine Zeta-Jones take the role, but it might be better to pair Douglas with a previous on-screen partner than his wife, often when real-life couples work together it doesn’t come off well.

Another could be a secret role in Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, which also includes 80s icons like Kurt Russell and her Specialist co-star Sly Stallone. Stone was also once attached to work with Russell on a film based on the ATF’s 1993 storming of a compound in Waco, Texas.

Other Marvel productions like Spider-Man: Homecoming, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther coming up soon as well.

Sharon deserves another shot at a superhero film after regretfully being apart of WB’s Catwoman movie as it’s main villain. Halle Berry has gone on the record as calling the film “a piece of shit“.
