Shazam! aka Franklin has been assembling it’s main cast but there are still some crew hirings happening. Previously, we reported that director David F. Sandberg would be reuniting with his Annabelle: Creation cinematographer Maxime Alexandre and production designer Jennifer Spence for the film.
Now, we’ve learned that they’ve hired a stunt coordinator to work on the action sequences which will be Kyle Gardiner, best known for his recent work on Thor: Rangarok, Alien: Covenant, Hacksaw Ridge, and Aquaman all shot in Australia.
It’s cast currently consists of Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, and Asher Angel.
Omega Underground had also uncovered the film’s link to the DCEU via a Freddy Freeman audition tape that established both Batman and Superman inhabiting the same space as Shazam via Freddy’s collectables.
WB is still aiming for a February 5th production start in Toronto.
