Showtime’s ‘Halo’ Series Eyes Production Start On January 1st In Budapest

Showtime’s Halo series is gearing up for a production start early next year and we have a possible start date for the live-action video game series.

Omega Underground learned that filming on the series is now expected to begin on January 1st in Budapest, Hungary.

Showtime had announced in June that Awake’s Kyle Killen is writing/showrunning the series while Rise of The Planet of The Apes director Rupert Wyatt is set to helm a couple of the episodes in the 10-episode order. The series will also feature fan-favorite Master Chief as one of the reoccurring characters of the show.

The Halo series the series but it’s expected to drop sometime in 2020.
