David Goyer recently exited as the director for Sony’s Masters of The Universe film which seemed to be an added hiccup to a project that has been trying to get made for over a decade.
However, Variety is reporting they’ve found his replacements with Aaron Nee and Adam Nee, the brothers are best know for their film Band of Robbers.
Goyer is seemingly still involved as a screenwriter and possibly helping out behind the scenes. We posted pics of him developing character and concept art for the film before his exit.
Last we heard, the studio was eyeing a production in Vancouver but could ultimately look towards Budapest. Currently, the film is without updated production dates.
Sony had dated the reboot for December 18, 2019.
