Sony’s ’23 Jump Street/Men in Black’ Crossover Finds a Director

Mar 5, 2016

One of the few weird news coming out of last years Sony Hack was the news Sony might move forward with 23 Jump Street crossing over with Men in Black. Yes, this is a real thing. Now according to Variety Sony indeed going to move forward with this film but stress the film still officially doesn’t have a greenlight. They go onto reveal that The Peanuts Movie director James Bobin will come on board to direct the film. This of course will come as a disappointing to classic Jump Street fans who won’t see the return of Chris Miller & Phil Lord return to the directing chairs. However it’s because the duo is hard at work writing The Flash and directing Han Solo spin-off film.

Still unknown if they are going to dumb down the Jump Street films to PG-13 like previous Men in Black films. Or…make a Men in Black film in the hard R territory.
