Sony’s ‘Uncharted’ Begins Filming Late Spring in Colombia

Sony’s long-in-development Uncharted film adaption has just inched forward in its production. My Entertainment World has revealed that the film will start filming in Late Spring down in Colombia, South America. The site also provides the film’s first plot synopsis as well. With Nathan Drake on the hunt for the lost city of El Dorado.


No actor is yet attached to the film but should be getting some casting news real soon based on this news. Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) is attached to helm the project from a script by Joe Carnahan (The A-Team, Bad Boys III). This will also mark the second “explorer” video game adaptation in production after next year’s Tomb Raider which begins filming soon.
