With production set to begin next month, DC has tapped Glen Winter to helm the first episode of ‘Stargirl.’

Winter has directed seven episodes of ‘Arrow,’ five episodes of ‘The Flash,’ the season finale of ‘Titans,’ and the pilot of ‘Doom Patrol’ (which will be released on February 15th).

Additionally, Andrew Orloff will be the visual effects supervisor for the show. He previously served as the VFX supervisor for ‘The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’, so we’re definitely in for a treat!

‘Stargirl’ hails from Geoff Johns and stars Brec Bassinger, Joel McHale, and Luke Wilson. It will premiere on DC Universe this August.
