Sterling K. Brown and Thomas Jane Are Joining ‘The Predator’ Cast

Jan 24, 2017

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that both Sterling K. Brown (Black Panther, The People vs Oj Simpson) and Thomas Jane (The Mist, Boogie Nights, The Expanse) are in negotiations to join the cast of Shane Black’s The Predator.

If a deal is sealed, Brown will play a government agent who jails Holbrook’s ex-Marine character, but later needs his help with the Predators.

The two actors will be joining previous additions that include Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, and Moonlight’s Trevante Rhodes.

Despite the trades repeatedly mentioning that the film will take place in the suburbs, director Shane Black has debunked this publicly.

As we’ve reported previously The Predator will begin shooting in February and end around mid-May as production will take place in Vancouver.

Its release date has been slated for February 9th, 2018.
