Recently, we revealed that Oscar-winning production designer Paul D. Austerberry (The Shape of Water) would be tackling the look of IT: Chapter 2.
Collider reports that Andy Muschietti is continuing to mix it up by hiring Checco Varese as his cinematographer. His credits include The Strain, The 33, Replicas, and Jack Ryan.
Checco and Andy recently worked together on the pilot for Locke and Key which was canceled.
Bill Skarsgard and Jessica Chastain are confirmed while Bill Hader and James McAvoy are in talks for roles.
Filming begins on July 3rd until October 20th in Toronto.
IT: Chapter 2 is set for release on September 6th, 2019.
