THR has revealed that Stranger Things actress Sadie Sink has joined horror film Eli along with Charlie Shotwell and Kelly Reilly, directed by Ciaran Foy.
The story centers on Eli, an 11-year-old who moves into a “clean house” to treat his autoimmune disorder. Unable to leave, Eli soon realizes that the house, and the doctor who runs it, are more sinister than they appear.
They add that filming will take place in Atlanta.
Omega Underground has learned production details as well. Eli begins filming on January 29th and will also film scenes in New Orleans.
Stranger Things alumni have landed previously high-profile gigs recent with It, Godzilla 2, Hellboy, and New Mutants.
