So with the Mega Man and Mega Man X collection already coming from Capcom, they decided to also announce that a Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection will be coming in May 2018 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam. Physical editions will be available for the console versions too. The collection will compile 12 classic titles from the franchise from the first Street Fighter arcade game through the Alpha series. In case you were wondering, don’t worry. You will have plenty of versions of Street Fighter 2 to choose from in the collection. (Insert franchise joke here). Online play for ranked and casual matches will be available for 4 titles which will consist of Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Super Street Fighter II: Turbo, Street Fighter 3 Alpha, and Street Fighter III: Third Strike. This is certainly a nice surprise to be able to play these games on current gen systems and on the go with the Switch. The collection will be priced at $39.99. So it’s time to grab those sticks and fightpads everyone as we all throw a hadoken and spinning bird kicks at each other again.
