SUICIDE SQUAD Will Have A Brief Nod To Harley Quinn’s Cartoon Counterpart

Latino Review has been on fire with details concerning David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad revealing information about how characters like the villains, Hugo Strange, Deathstroke, Batman and Joker fit into the film.

Going from traditional with the animated series as a reference to prison attire & in one sequence where they infiltrate a club she swears a dress. Get this, her & Joker’s pet Hyena’s are in the film briefly. Apparently, Harley with the hyena’s are a big motif. Now, they have some new tidbits about Margot Robbie‘s Harley Quinn and it’ll mean she’ll have a brief nod to Batman: The Animated Series, where the character was first introduced. They say we’ll be seeing Harley’s hyenas Bud and Lou, I’m unsure if they’ll be using those exact names but they’ll be in the film which is decent fan service.

Still kind of hoping we get a scene like this but with Quinn wearing rollerblades or roller skates at some point.
