Recap: Nintendo Direct – April 8th, 2014
The multiplayer experience will have two paths: Fun or Glory. As the names infer, the Fun mode will be to play casually while the Glory mode will be ranked. Nintendo made note that online play will be monitored closely to ensure it’s fun and not a bully-fest. Some of the things that will get you band include: starting and not playing, relentless targeting of an individual, repeated self-destructs, and frequent dropping.
Why Nintendo Owns the Handheld Market
Sony is left with 2 choices: focus on portable experiences and drop Vita’s price, or find a studio that can deliver a console experience on the go. Sony is trying to tote the line between these two without true identity for Vita. A business practice that confuses both internally as well as externally.
