Tarantino’s Next Film Will Tackle Manson Family Murderers; Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence Eyed

Jul 11, 2017

Some big Quentin Tarantino news has just broken from TheHollywoodReporter as they have revealed his next film.

Tarantino is said to be writing and directing an untitled film set around the Manson Family Murders with Brad Pitt and Jennifer Lawrence being eyed to take roles.

Pitt has previously worked with Quentin on Inglorious Basterds while Jennifer had been originally eyed to play Daisy in The Hateful Eight but had to pass due to X-Men commitments. Jennifer is not reportedly in talks for the Sharon Tate role.

My assumption is that she’ll end up playing one of the women who actually carried out the murders for Charles Manson. This remains to be seen but it looks like Pitt might be eyeing that Manson role.

They suggest that prep has begun and they hope to begin filming next summer, as it’s expected on our part to film in and around the Los Angeles area. A release date hasn’t been announced but it could get a November-December date setting it up for awards consideration as most of his films do.
